As an orthodontist, I am honored to become part of someone's life during their treatment time. I enjoy getting to know each patient, and helping them attain a beautiful smile and healthy bite. My goal is to provide a comfortable and positive experience, and a smile that exceeds their expectations.
Dr. McGrory attended the University of Missouri where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Art History and Archaeology. Dr. McGrory studied dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. There he graduated first in his class and received his DDS degree along with multiple scholastic awards including induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honors society limited to the top ten percent of a graduating dental class and reception of the prestigious Kramer Award. Dr. McGrory continued onto orthodontic residency at the UT Health Science Center at Houston. In 2009, Dr. McGrory gained board certification and is now a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. McGrory exceeds the standards of his profession. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Board of Orthodontics, the Southwest Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the 9th District Dental Society. Dr. McGrory is on faculty at the Department of Orthodontics at the UT School of Dentistry where he trains residents in clinical orthodontics. He is a lifelong learner and is at the forefront of orthodontics. Dr. McGrory is married to Dr. Kathleen McGrory, also an orthodontist, and has three wonderful children, Gavin, Liam and Claire.
