Dr. McGrory serves as a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Professor of orthodontics
Dr. McGrory exceeds the standards of orthodontics while still being a dedicated life-long learner. Dr. McGrory serves as a faculty member at the Department of Orthodontics at the UT School of Dentistry where he trains residents in clinical orthodontics.
Outside of the office
Dr. McGrory is happily married to his wife, Dr. Kathleen McGrory (also an orthodontist!) Together they have three wonderful children: Gavin, Liam, and Claire.
Education
Dr. McGrory graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Art History and Archaeology.
He went on to study dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston where he graduated first in his class.
While earning his DDS degree, Dr. McGrory received multiple scholastic awards, including induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Society, an honor limited to the top 10% in any graduating dental class, and the prestigious Kramer Award.
Dr. McGrory started his orthodontic residency at the UT Health Science Center in Houston and, in 2009, gained his board certification from the American Board of Orthodontics.
